This talk focuses on stability analysis of time-delay systems. First, a brief review on time-delay systems is offered. Second, it is known that Bessel-Legendre inequality plays an important role in stability analysis of linear systems with time-varying delay. However, various integral vectors inherited from the Bessel-Legendre inequality bring some challenging issues, such as construction of suitable augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs); high-degree polynomial estimation on the derivative of the chosen LKF. This paper gives an overview of recent developments on these issues: An instructive review on the construction of suitable augmented LKFs catering for the use of the Bessel-Legendre inequality is given in detail; and an in-depth analysis and insightful understanding of high-degree polynomial inequalities on closed intervals is made. Finally, several challenging problems are presented for future research.
四、主讲人介绍
张先明,1992年获中南大学应用数学硕士学位,2006年获中南大学控制理论与控制工程博士学位。2016年7月加入澳大利亚Swinburne University of Technology,博士生导师。自2005年,在控制领域权威期刊Automatica及IEEE Transactions发表论文50余篇。发表的论文被SCI引用近8000次,h-指数42,ESI高被引论文30篇。2011年获湖南省自然科学一等奖,2013年获国家自然科学奖二等奖,2019-20年Highly cited researcher (Clarivate Analytics)。
