三、摘要

In this talk I report our results on existence and stability of travelling pulses for a couple FitzHugh-Nagumo equation, which is an extension of the classical FitzHugh-Nagumo equation. Existence of traveling wave is obtained by using geometric singular perturbation theory together with qualitative analysis. Stability of the traveling wave is verified via essential spectrum and point spectrum through exponential dichotomy.

四、主讲人介绍

张祥，上海交通大学特聘教授，博士生导师，教育部新世纪优秀人才和上海市曙光人才。担任中国数学会奇异摄动专业委员会主任，以及Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems和International J. Bifurcation and Chaos等杂志的Associate编委。主要从事常微分方程的定性和分支理论，动力系统可积的代数、几何与拓扑，以及微分同胚嵌入流的存在性等方面的研究。主持多项国家自然科学基金，主要结果发表在American J. Mathematics, Transactions of Amer. Math. Soc., Communications in Math. Physics, J. Functional Analysis, Physica D, J. Nonlinear Science, J. Differential Equations和Ergodic Theoery and Dynamical Systems等国际核心期刊上，合作成果分别获得教育部自然科学一等奖和上海市自然科学二等奖。近五年多次应邀在德国、西班牙和加拿大召开的动力系统国际学术会议上作大会特邀报告。
