In this talk, Laplacian modified linearization combined with high-order compact finite difference and ADI schemes for nonlinear parabolic problems are derived and analyzed. The algebraic systems obtained by the present schemes are linear and have the same coefficient matrix at different time steps, which are easily to implementing. By using the discrete energy method, it is proven that the Laplacian modified finite difference schemes are unconditionally stable and convergent. Optimal order error estimates are given. Some numerical results are presented to show the effectiveness of our method.
