The algebrac of symmetric tensors of a projective manifold is defined to be the global sections of symmetric powers of its tangent bundle. Despite its simple definition, this is an intriguing object, which is usually quite complicated, even for a variety as simple as the quadric. In this talk, I will survey some interesting examples by focusing on its relation with holomorphic symplectic geometry: algebraically complete integrable systems (ACIS) and symplectic singularities. I'll end with a theorem that bounds its (Krull) dimension in terms of the Kodaira dimension of X and also introduce some open questions. This is joint work with Arnaud Beauville.
五、主讲人简介:
刘杰,中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院副研究员。2014本科毕业于武汉大学,2018年博士毕业于法国蔚蓝海岸大学,2018年-2020年于中国科学院晨兴数学中心从事博士后研究,2020年起任职于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院。主要研究方向为代数几何,研究成果发表在ADV. MATH、MATH ANN、ALGEA NUMBER THEORY等杂志上。
